We are a non-profit organization providing educational programs and services about the justice system in Canada and British Columbia. Our education is two-way in that we help the public understand how our justice system works and we also help those people working within the system to better understand the justice-related issues that different people in our communities face.
Our service groups in the public domain include youth and schools, First Nations people, ethnic and immigrant communities, Deaf people, people with special learning abilities, and all other groups in the community who want or need to learn more about our justice system. Within the system, we work with judges, lawyers, sheriffs and other court personnel.
We work in partnership with the Ministry of Attorney General, the Ministry of Education, the Judiciary, the Canadian Bar Association (BC Branch), schools, and communities.
With the support of our partners, funders and volunteers, we strive to maintain an accessible justice system for everyone.
